  • Define clear requirements and success criteria (safety, quality, cycle time, uptime, ergonomics) and translate needs into an executable scope.
  • Coordinate RFQ preparation, review supplier proposals, and support supplier selection in alignment with technical and operational needs.
  • Create and maintain the project plan (timeline, risks, budget, actions) and drive regular follow-ups to keep activities on track.
  • Coordinate design reviews and ensure open items are tracked and closed with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Support and coordinate FAT/SAT, installation, commissioning, ramp-up, and handover to Operations and Maintenance.
  • Ensure delivered solutions comply with EHS and Siemens safety requirements and are properly documented and trained for shop-floor use.
  • Contribute to the site automation roadmap by identifying and sizing opportunities (impact, effort, and feasibility) together with multi-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with global automation functions and subject-matter experts within global Siemens network to align standards, share best practices, and leverage global solutions for local implementation.

Production Support & Stabilization

  • Learn Trayer Engineering products and key manufacturing steps to support stable production and good quality.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause problem solving with Production and Maintenance.
  • Drive improvements to reduce downtime, quality issues, and rework.

Cross-functional Work

  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and Engineering.
  • Lead small improvement projects and make sure communication is clear across shifts/sites.

  • 3 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, supporting / leading engineering, automation/equipment or industrialization projects.
  • Experience coordinating external stakeholders for automation/equipment improvements (scope alignment, technical follow-up, and acceptance of delivered solutions).
  • Good shop-floor perspective: willing to go to the line, check issues, and push actions to closure.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Hands-on exposure to welding automation and related manufacturing operations (fabrication/sheet metal, assembly, material handling, quality testing/inspection); capable of troubleshooting and implementing improvements on the line.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
