About the Role:
PT Siemens Indonesia invites highly motivated engineering students to join our Summer Internship Program within the LV/MV Switchgear Panel business. This internship provides hands‑on exposure to electrical design, switchgear engineering, digital tools, and factory operations. Interns will work closely with engineering experts to support real customer projects, product configurations, and technical documentation.
Engineering Support
Assist in preparing single-line diagrams (SLD), schematic drawings, and panel layouts for LV/MV switchgear systems.
Support engineering calculations including cable sizing, short‑circuit checks, and protection coordination under the guidance of senior engineers.
This also include to learn on mechanical design aspect , customization of design , manufacturing process linked with customization team, proactiveness, advance planning , timely action to ensure on time execution .
Project Execution Support
Help in reviewing customer specifications and preparing technical compliance documentation.
Support preparation of Bills of Materials (BOM), technical datasheets, and configuration reports for switchgear panels.
Assist in engineering change management and document updates.
Factory & Testing Exposure
Participate in factory floor activities to understand panel assembly processes for LV/MV switchgear.
Observe and support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) preparation activities.
Collaborate with quality/production teams to learn workflow, best practices, and safety standards.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute ideas to improve engineering workflows, standard templates, and documentation accuracy.
Support digitalization or automation mini‑projects as assigned.
