As we work to shape the future of global infrastructure, we are seeking a visionary and hands-on leader to serve as the Head of Customer Development for our Global Enterprise Programs within our Smart Infrastructure Buildings Business

Location: this role can be located in Zug - Switzerland or any European location with Siemens SI B presence such as Vienna- Austria, Munich, Berlin- Germany, Madrid- Spain, London -UK or Paris-France.

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in one of the specified locations

Role Overview

Join us as the Head of Customer Development within our Global Enterprise Customers team, leading a team of Customer Developers. Strong leadership will be a key success factor in this role, as you shape how SI Buildings partners with global companies to achieve their strategic and operational goals. You’ll build long-term, outcome-driven relationships, helping customers unlock innovation, speed, and simplicity across their global building portfolios

In this role, you’ll engage directly with senior executives, identify cross-border growth opportunities, and deliver consistent, measurable impact for both our customers and Siemens. Key Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the global Enterprise Customer Development strategy, driving profitable growth, global sales KPIs, and building long-term, trust-based partnerships that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Lead enterprise customer engagement and development, shaping value-based, insight-driven concepts and C-level relationship strategies
  • Own global pipeline creation and opportunity management, ensuring high-quality reporting and predictable performance
  • Drive cross-functional and cross-country collaboration throughout customer development phases, ensuring consistent customer experience and alignment across regions and functions
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global Customer Development team, fostering a culture of accountability, customer centricity, and value selling
  • Create and disseminate global best practices, methodologies, and customer references to accelerate business transformation and scalable growth

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, providing a strong analytical and problem-solving foundation
  • 10+ years’ experience in enterprise sales and strategic account management, business development, with a proven track record as a sales leader driving strategy, pipeline growth, deal execution, and long-term revenue growth for complex offerings managing long-term customer relationships
  • Strong understanding of the buildings technology industry and how Siemens Buildings solutions can be applied to address customer needs
  • Proven ability to drive change management and sales transformation during growth and scale-up phases
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and influence across direct and matrixed teams
  • Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and experience working in an international matrixed organization environment
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages considered an asset
  • Flexibility to travel required
