This role is ideal for candidates with deep knowledge of superannuation legislation, strong reconciliation skills, and experience working in complex, multi-entity environments.
The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing Shared Services team responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant superannuation processing—including readiness for upcoming Payday Super reforms.
Key Responsibilities
Superannuation (Primary Focus)
• Manage end-to-end superannuation processing: SG, salary sacrifice, employer contributions.
• Ensure compliance with ATO and APRA requirements, including future Payday Super changes.
• Conduct monthly superannuation reconciliations and investigate contribution variances.
• Liaise with external super funds regarding contribution files, corrections, and member queries.
• Maintain and update superannuation configurations in payroll/HR systems (Workday, SAP, ADP).
• Provide employee support on fund selection, contribution changes, and regulatory questions.
Payroll Support
• Assist with end-to-end payroll processing cycles.
• Validate payroll inputs: new starters, terminations, allowances, ETPs.
• Ensure correct OTE classification and superannuation treatment for all earnings.
• Support audits, RIC controls, and compliance checks.
Stakeholder Management
• Work closely with Finance, HR, payroll vendors, and super funds.
• Provide accurate and timely information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and payroll governance initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
• 2–4+ years’ experience in Payroll or Superannuation administration.
• Strong understanding of Australian superannuation legislation.
• Experience with Workday, SAP, ADP, or similar payroll/HRIS systems.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and reconciliation capability.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with compliance, audits, or control frameworks is a bonus.
Why This Role?
• Join a global, reputable organisation with strong values and a people-first culture.
• Hybrid working model with flexibility.
• Excellent career development and upskilling opportunities within Shared Services.
• Work in a stable team environment with clear processes and ongoing transformation projects.
Additional Information
• This role requires Australian work rights (no sponsorship).
• Experience in multi-entity payroll environments is highly valued.
• Superannuation expertise is the core requirement—payroll generalists without SG experience will not progress.
