You’ll make a difference in:
- Driving Electrical Energy Transition: Contributing significantly through well-thought-out solutions in electrical energy distribution, making an important impact on tomorrow's energy landscape.
- Cultivating Strategic Relationships: Maintaining and building intensive customer relationships with planning and engineering offices, acting as the crucial interface to the regional sales department.
- Providing Market Intelligence: Proactively identifying new infrastructure and industry projects, gaining early insights into project plans, and analyzing market trends, requirements, and competitor behavior.
- Delivering Technical Planning & Design Support: Offering comprehensive technical assistance for MV/LV power distribution, including network design, calculations, component dimensioning, specifications, bills of quantities, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Designing Innovative & Sustainable Solutions: Developing and supporting the planning of IoT solutions and energy-efficient, sustainable power distribution systems.
- Ensuring Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating closely with sales, vertical teams, and the Totally Integrated Power (TIP) Headquarters team to deliver integrated solutions.
- Supporting Specialized Software Tools: Providing marketing and first-level support for Siemens' specialized software tools: SIMARIS Design, SIMARIS Project, and SIMARIS Curves.
- Managing Regional Projects with Quality: Leveraging project management experience to ensure successful implementation and quality of proposed solutions, specifically supporting Data Center and other vertical projects for Siemens EA MY and across the ASEAN region.
Your success is grounded in:
- Work Experience and Educational Background: Have minimum of 10 years of work experience and successfully complete a technical degree specializing in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Professional Qualification: Active membership in IEM/BEM (e.g., Ir or CEng qualification).
- Electrical Distribution Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the systems, products, and planning process for electrical energy distribution systems - Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV).
- Project Management Experience: Demonstrated experience as a responsible project manager.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to identify market trends, analyze project situations, and provide effective technical solutions.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams. Also, excellent fluency in the national language (Bahasa Malaysia) and English, both written and verbal, is required.
- Customer-Centric Approach: A proactive and customer-focused mindset, dedicated to understanding and addressing client needs.
