Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Lead to oversee field service, commissioning support, and warranty coordination for the new Siemens Airo+ trainset. This position emphasizes leadership, planning, workflow management, and customer engagement, ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of all site activities.
As the primary Siemens representative on site, the Site Lead will coordinate technical teams, manage operational processes, and maintain strong working relationships with customer personnel, Siemens engineering, and internal stakeholders.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Operational Leadership & Team Coordination
- Oversee daily Siemens Airo+ commissioning, service, and warranty activities.
- Assign and prioritize technician tasks; monitor work quality and safety.
- Coordinate with customer operations, engineering, supply chain, and management for schedule and issue resolution.
- Track KPIs and performance; provide weekly reports.
- Guide technician onboarding and development.
Technical Oversight
- Review technical drawings and schematics; provide guidance and escalate issues.
- Manage Field Modifications (FMIs) and reporting in Siemens digital systems.
- Oversee RMA activities and documentation.
Quality, Safety & Reliability
- Enforce Siemens quality, FRA requirements, and site safety protocols.
- Analyze operational data; support reliability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with customer and Siemens processes.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as Siemens representative for the Philadelphia site; maintain strong customer relationships.
- Communicate updates, risks, and recommendations.
- Share best practices with Site Leads nationwide.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- At least 5 years of field service or maintenance experience with rail or industrial systems
- Minimum 3 years leading or supervising technical teams
- Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Excellent communication and customer interaction abilities
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices (OSHA, FRA, Lockout/Tagout)
What will make you stand out:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering (or related field).
- Experience with rail vehicles, trainsets, rolling stock, or heavy industrial/transportation systems.
- Familiarity with Siemens products (Airo, Charger, Venture) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of high‑voltage propulsion systems, onboard electronics, and digital diagnostics.
- Experience with CMMS platforms, warranty databases, or technical reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel for training or cross‑site coordination.

The base salary range for this position in Pennsylvania is $88,536.00- $119,238.00. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $88, 536.00 - $119,238.00 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
