What will be your exciting responsibilities and challenges?

  • As a Project Manager at Siemens, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of complex industrial automation and digitalization projects. You will orchestrate the entire project lifecycle, ensuring excellence from conception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading end-to-end project execution in industrial automation, digitalization, and SCADA solutions, ensuring delivery within defined scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Strategic planning, organization, and meticulous monitoring of all project phases - from initiation, design, and engineering to implementation, commissioning, and final customer acceptance.
  • Cultivating strong relationships and managing effective communication with a diverse range of stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, internal Siemens teams, and international partners.
  • Efficiently allocating and monitoring project resources, proactively identifying potential risks, and implementing robust mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Coordinating and empowering multidisciplinary teams, encompassing automation engineers, hardware specialists, software developers, and field personnel, to achieve common goals.
  • Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project plans, regular progress reports, meeting minutes, thorough risk assessments, and essential technical documentation.
  • Ensuring rigorous compliance with Siemens' technical standards, internal processes, and the highest quality requirements within our Digital Industries department.
  • Actively participating in customer meetings and delivering compelling technical presentations, providing valuable support for pre-sales activities when required.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within project management processes and tools, helping us to constantly evolve and optimize our delivery.

Are you the one we're looking for? Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in technical or industrial project management, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Significant experience in projects related to industrial automation, digitalization, SCADA, PLC, MES, or IIoT is a strong advantage, showcasing your relevant domain expertise.
  • Solid understanding of industrial automation systems and digital solutions (e.g., SCADA, PLC, MES, industrial networks, digital platforms), reflecting your technical foundation.
  • Familiarity with hardware and software implementation workflows in industrial projects.
  • Strong command of MS Office suite and professional project management tools such as MS Project or similar.
  • Project management certifications (e.g., IPMA, PMI) are highly valued and considered a significant plus, demonstrating your commitment to best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across various levels.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and inspire cross-functional and multicultural teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities, enabling you to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
  • Result-oriented, self-driven, and capable of making sound decisions independently, even under pressure.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German is a distinct advantage, especially for our international projects.
