We are seeking an experienced cyber security Specialist with a strong background in industrial environments and technical projects, to support cross-functional sales teams and develop solution concepts for industrial cyber security.

As a Specialist, you will support multiple sales opportunities and customer accounts in sectors such as marine, oil and gas, chemicals and other process industries. Your objective will be to define innovative cyber security offerings that align with European and North American cyber security regulations. This will be a global responsibility.

This role requires a deep understanding of how cyber security impacts equipment and systems in marine applications and industrial processes, and the customers’ associated operating models, business processes and workflows. It also requires hands-on experience in working with Regional Sales, Technology, Projects, Services and other stakeholders, to craft winning offerings that deliver value to our customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is recommended, but can be overlooked if candidate possesses a strong 13+ Years of cybersecurity background.

Industry Experience: The candidate must understand customer pain points and requirements related to industrial cybersecurity. Knowledge of NIS2 impact on European industrial cybersecurity landscape, and knowledge of standards like IEC62443 is a must. Knowledge of NERC CIP (US) will be advantageous. Must be familiar with managed services best practices and business models for industrial cybersecurity solutions.

Technical Skills: 12+ years of good exposure in Audits ,ISO2001 In addition to cyber security enterprise solutions and edge based solutions The candidate should have an Industrial automation background, with experience of typical OT system architectures, OT/IT integration concepts and IIoT technologies, integration to ERP.

Technical Sales Skills: 5+ years’ in strong Cyber Security proven track record in value selling and business development, at senior customer decision maker level. Familiarity with CRM tools, e.g. Salesforce, will be an advantage.

Integrative thinking: The openness to challenge silo thinking and find agile ways of working to the benefit of both the customer and Siemens Energy.

Leadership Skills: Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring abilities, with the capacity to inspire teams and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, particularly in technical and industrial contexts.

Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex challenges, especially those related to the development and integration of industrial systems.

Global Collaboration: Proven experience working with global, cross functional and multicultural teams, ensuring alignment across international programs.



How You’ll Make an Impact

Industrial Focus: Understand the technical and operational specifics related to cyber security related to marine applications and industrial processes. Effectively support regional sales teams in developing cyber security concepts that are tailored to these environments.

Sales Engagement: Work with sales teams to proactively identify target customers and opportunities, and to develop cyber security roadmaps for these customers. Support Sales to position our value proposition with senior customer decision makers.

Solution Development: In collaboration with Technology and Project Execution, develop solution concepts that are cost competitive and that differentiate our automation (and electrical) offerings in marine applications and in process industries. Oversee cyber security inputs into the proposals process.

Team Development: Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance by mentoring sales teams to recognize opportunities for co-selling our cyber security offerings.

Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and providing regular updates on progress.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address technical risks related to sales opportunities. In addition, understand and mitigate competitive challenges.

Metrics & Reporting: Track number of joint customer engagements with regional sales, digital pipeline growth, number of RFIs and RFQ's responded to, and order intake.
