You'll make an impact by
- You support the definition and maintenance of advanced data models using LinkML, connecting various data formats and ensuring consistency
- Subsequently, you help align information with semantic standards by modeling according to Web of Things (WoT) ontologies, SHACL shapes, JSON-LD contexts, and JSON Schema
- Building on this, you assist in developing Python-based backend tools for transforming, validating, and processing these models, directly improving system interoperability
- Furthermore, you contribute to open-source projects, helping to advance the tools and frameworks within our semantic ecosystem
- To complete the workflow, you write and execute test cases to validate both models and software, ensuring they meet high quality and performance standards
This is how you'll win us over
- Education: You are currently enrolled in a university program, ideally in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field
- Experience and Skills:
- You have good knowledge of Semantic Web modeling and technologies such as RDF/OWL, JSON-LD, and SHACL
- You possess practical experience in Python development, including using Git, testing, and CI tools
- You are familiar with data modeling concepts and industry standards like LinkML, WoT ontologies, and JSON Schema
- Ways of Working: You demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and enjoy contributing to open-source projects
- Languages: You have very good English skills
