For our LC IP team, we are looking for an IP Professional to help us drive innovation within Siemens and beyond. We are a highly motivated team and are excited to get to know you.
You’ll make an impact by
• Working with business partners for all related IP matters, providing expert advice across all levels of the business.
• Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in-house, ensuring strong protection for Siemens innovations.
• Effective IP risk management, e.g., searching, patent clearing, freedom-to-operate analysis, validity opinion and other IP counselling, etc.
• Identify opportunities to protect innovation and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to secure strategic IP rights.
• Engage with stakeholders to develop and manage IP portfolios, using IP as a tool for business growth.
• Other work assigned by LC IP Team.
Your defining qualities
• Qualification as Chinese Patent attorney with at least 5 years’ IP experience in software and digital innovations
• Bachelor's degree or above, preferred in engineering, software or digitalization background
• Ability to communicate complex technical and legal topics clearly to diverse audiences in English & Chinese (oral and writing).
• Proven experience influencing cross-functional teams and advising stakeholders across technologies.
• Skilled in drafting and prosecuting patent applications independently or under supervision.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to take initiative within a collaborative and supportive team.
