Role Overview
The Commercial Executive is responsible for managing end to end commercial, financial, and contractual activities for assigned projects.This role ensures accurate order booking, cost control, KPI monitoring, compliance with corporate guidelines, and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders. The position plays a critical role in driving project profitability, optimizing cash flow, and delivering financial results aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. KPI Monitoring & Reporting:
•Manage and maintain financial dashboards, including KPIs such as GRIR,GIT, and WebCycle.
•Track and report project financial performance, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
2.Financial KPI Achievement:
•Achieve business financial KPIs in line with budgets and forecasts, including Revenue, Profitability, Cash Flow, and other key financial metrics.
•Support forecasting and budgeting processes with accurate financial insights.
3.Order Booking & Governance:
•Perform order booking activities strictly as per approved guidelines, preferably through SD/CCM modules.
•Ensure all orders comply with internal controls, documentation standards,and approval workflows.
4.Commercial Project Execution:
•Handle the full spectrum of commercial tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
•Coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to customer and internal requirements.
5. Project Cost & Risk Control:
•Monitor, analyze, and update project costs, risks, billings, invoicing, accruals, and provisions.
•Prepare periodic project financial reports with clear visibility of cost status and potential risks.
6. Regulatory Compliance:
•Ensure compliance with hedging policies, currency regulations, and internal financial controls.
•Support audits and provide necessary financial documentation.
7. Vendor Management
• Respond to vendor queries regarding due payments, invoices, and other commercial matters in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and maintain vendor relationships.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Proficiency in SAP modules (SD/CCM preferred) and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of project costing, billing cycles, and financial controls.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving abilities.
