Program Features

Our Graduate Trainee Engineer Program is a comprehensive 2‑year fast‑track development journey designed to nurture future engineers and leaders in the fields of Engineering, Energy, and Environmental Management.

Throughout the program, you will receive structured training, cross‑functional job rotations, and hands‑on exposure across key business units. You will gain expertise in areas such as:

  • Project Tendering & Execution
  • Product Marketing & Price Management
  • Channel Development & Selling
  • Engineering Services & Advisory
  • Electrical Substation Design, Digital Solutions & Implementation
  • Customer Services & Quality Management

Your Exposure

As a Graduate Trainee, you will participate in impactful, real-world projects across our Smart Infrastructure business, including:

  • Working with 33/11kV/380V power distribution systems
  • Supporting Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications and digitalization initiatives
  • Experiencing next‑generation electrical product technologies
  • Developing reliable automation applications and solutions
  • Contributing to data structures and foundational systems that power digital transformation
  • Exploring the latest developments in the Energy Internet and supporting IIoT digitalization trials

You will be guided by an experienced mentor who will support your professional development and help you grow throughout the program.

Requirements

We’re looking for talented individuals who are ready to innovate, collaborate, and influence the future:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Energy, or Environmental Management
  • Great team player with strong leadership potential
  • Passionate, curious, and able to think outside the box
  • Creative mindset with strong drive to challenge the status quo
  • Eager to embrace new technology and a digital-first environment
  • Strong communication skills and initiative to take on challenges
  • Proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
