Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a strong interest in healthcare, data privacy, and data engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to healthcare data initiatives while continuing to develop technical and domain expertise in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and visualize healthcare data to support operational and strategic initiatives
- Support data privacy, security, and compliance efforts in accordance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members on data engineering and data management projects
- Help maintain and improve data pipelines, data quality, and reporting processes
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to improve data handling, governance, and analytics
- Research healthcare data trends, regulatory updates, and industry best practices
- Assist in documenting data processes, standards, and compliance procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline
- Basic to intermediate understanding of healthcare systems, workflows, and terminology
- Familiarity with data privacy principles and regulations (HIPAA knowledge is a strong plus)
- Foundational knowledge of data engineering or analytics concepts (ETL, data modeling, reporting, or visualization)
- Experience with Foundry or similar data management platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed to support project demands
