The Electrification & Automation business is performing strongly and experiencing sustained growth across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific. This creates a compelling opportunity for an experienced senior leader to take ownership of the Switchgear & Solutions business - an integral part of delivering large-scale, complex electrical balance-of-plant solutions across data centres, renewables, utilities, mining, and minerals processing.

This role carries full profit and loss accountability and offers genuine autonomy to shape strategy, drive performance, and build a scalable, resilient business. You will lead a multidisciplinary team spanning business development, tendering, engineering, and project delivery, while acting as the senior executive interface with customers and partners.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full P&L ownership for the Switchgear & Solutions business segment
• Driving sales growth, market share, revenue, cost control, and profitability
• Setting and executing future-focused business and market strategies
• Leading and supporting major project pursuits alongside sales, engineering, and delivery teams
• Building trusted senior-level relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers
• Overseeing delivery of standard switchgear packages and complex engineered solutions
• Acting as the senior escalation point for critical project, commercial, and contractual issues
• Developing organisational capability and leading a high-performance team

You are a senior leader with a strong commercial mindset and deep experience in electrification and power distribution. You bring a proven track record in winning and delivering large, complex infrastructure projects, full P&L accountability, and executive stakeholder engagement. Your background includes extensive experience with medium-voltage switchgear, protection and automation systems, and large-scale project environments, supported by a degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.

The role can be based in Melbourne (relocating to Cremorne mid 2026) or Sydney, with regular customer engagement and approximately 30% domestic and international travel. Flexible working arrangements are supported.
