Job Title: GIS Busduct Testing Supervisor
Responsibilities:
• Manage customer inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for both domestic and international clients.
• Ensure accurate process-level documentation and maintain comprehensive records.
• Develop and execute daily and monthly testing plans aligned with turnover targets.
• Organize, monitor, and control the testing area, including workforce allocation, work procedures, material flow, and tools, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Provide technical and quality support to technicians; coordinate with support functions to resolve issues promptly.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for workstations; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Actively participate in Gemba walks, Quality Gemba, 5S audits, and safety meetings.
• Plan and oversee employee training and development; maintain skills matrix and development plans.
• Monitor employee performance, conduct growth discussions, and provide feedback.
• Manage internal and external ISO audits, including documentation, process compliance, and employee training.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance for equipment, components, and installations in GIS testing laboratories.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Education:
o Degree: B.E. in Electrical Engineering with 2–4 years of relevant experience, OR
o Diploma: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Communication: Strong professional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills for effective leadership and collaboration.
• EHS Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental health and safety regulations and practices.
• Lean Manufacturing: Advanced understanding of lean principles for process optimization and waste elimination.
• Leadership: Ability to motivate and engage teams to achieve organizational goals.
