Position Overview
We are looking for a Presales Software Developer to be hired for our Digital Industries business in Athens or Thessaloniki in Greece. As a Software Developer and Presales support you will have the opportunity to work on the world’s leading enterprise low-code platform (Mendix) by working on different projects with different business needs as well as define processes and Mendix best practices at Siemens Digital Industries.
Your Challenge
- Develop high quality and scalable enterprise applications with Mendix using modern engineering practices
- Work closely with the design team on creating the solution which improves business value
- Build industry specific apps using Siemens low code-no code application development platform (Mendix)
- Conduct workshop with cross functional Siemens and client teams to define client use requirements and use cases
- Demonstrate/present/deliver Mendix based apps that meet client use cases
- Primary responsibilities include building demonstrations using Mendix, participate in workshops, position Mendix from a technical perspective and work with services/engagement managers in scoping the solution
- Coordinate with other presales, services, partners and clients to increase adoption of Mendix usage Presales
- Support on building, positioning, demonstrating using Siemens low code-no code application platform (Mendix) based apps for all markets (Industry, hospitality, etc).
What do you need to bring with you?
- B.S or M.S in Computer Science, computer Engineering, Information Technology
- Required technical experience (2+ years of any software development)
- Required knowledge, skills, or expertise: Software development, database skills, familiarity in working with API’s, UI/UX skills, ability to work with cross functional teams collaboratively
- Familiarity with AI technologies (e.g., Azure AI, generative AI tools, Copilot environments).
- Growth Mindset: Desire to continuous learning, comfortable with ambiguity, willingness to unlearn and relearn
- Results/ Goals orientation and self-motivation for personal and career development within a dynamic working environment
- Natural curiosity to collaborate with others, grow within a team and ask questions
- Self-starter with aggressive energy to accomplish assigned tasks on time
- Knowledge on Cybersecurity (technical deployment – processes etc) will be highly appreciated
