Position Overview

Siemens is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Channel Sales Analyst to contribute to global and zone-based teams, working with both internal and partner resources. This pivotal role is a key member of the Global Solution Partner Sales team and will be primarily responsible for providing comprehensive operational and analytical support for our global service partner managers, as well as our critical hyperscaler partnerships (Azure, AWS). The Channel Sales Analyst will play a crucial role in optimizing partner performance, streamlining processes, and ensuring data accuracy across our partner ecosystem. This role will report into the Sr. Director, Global Partner Operations.

Responsibilities


Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Partner Enablement & Support:
    • Partnering closely with our strategic partner managers to provide essential administrative support for partner user access, training, and demo licenses, ensuring smooth onboarding and ongoing enablement.
    • Supporting our hyperscaler partner managers with comprehensive opportunity management, including pipeline tracking, deal registration, and managing Proof-of-Concept (POC) credits to accelerate deal cycles and drive revenue.
  • Hyperscaler Marketplace Operations:
    • Proactively managing and optimizing product listings and offerings on hyperscaler marketplaces (e.g., Azure Marketplace, AWS Marketplace), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to platform guidelines.
    • Facilitating the operational aspects of hyperscaler co-sell programs, including meticulous tracking of co-sell opportunities, managing deal registrations, and supporting joint go-to-market activities.
    • Assisting with the financial reconciliation of marketplace transactions and co-sell incentives, working closely with finance and partner teams to ensure accurate reporting
    • Monitoring and analyzing marketplace performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for optimization, and areas for improvement in collaboration with partner managers.
  • Data Management & Process Improvement:
    • Developing and maintaining detailed operational dashboards and reports specific to hyperscaler partnerships, providing actionable insights into performance, pipeline health, and program compliance.
    • Drives improvements and productivity enhancements to both customer relationship management (CRM) and partner relationship management (PRM) software, with a keen focus on integrating hyperscaler-specific workflows and data streams.
    • Collaborating with internal product, legal, and sales teams, as well as external hyperscaler contacts, to resolve operational issues and streamline partner processes for maximum efficiency.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science (or demonstrated equivalent previous job experience) required

· 3 – 5+ years of related experience in sales, sales finance/operations, or partner support related role

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Customer-centric mindset and strong business partner facing skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including hyperscaler representatives.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, as interfacing with multiple functions across the company and with external partners is critical to the candidate’s success.
  • Strong project management skills. Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from various sources and incorporate them into project plans and deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas for robust data analysis and reporting.
  • CRM experience, particularly with Salesforce (SFDC), including advanced report generation, dashboard creation, and workflow understanding.
  • Demonstrated experience with hyperscaler Marketplaces, specifically Azure Marketplace and AWS Marketplace, including hands-on experience with listing management, offer publication, and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with hyperscaler partner ecosystems and portals (e.g., Azure Partner Center, AWS Partner Network (APN) portal) for managing partnerships, programs, and co-sell motions.
  • Experience with data synchronization and integration tools, in particular Workspan, for managing complex co-sell and partner data flows.
  • Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Process improvement skills, with a proactive approach to identifying inefficiencies, recommending solutions, and implementing best practices.

The pay range for this position is $69,400 - $124,900 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
