Ensure successful completion of all commercial and financial activities required for project execution.
-Maintain accuracy of project books and records in compliance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG)
-Optimize operating working capital throughout the project lifecycle to ensure positive free cash flow
-Drive effective contract management, including proactive opportunity and claim strategies
-Actively communicate with customer’s commercial representatives and resolve commercial issues.
-Collaborate with Project Manager to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks and opportunities, assuming full responsibility for commercial aspects.
-Support Project Manager in partner/sub-contractor selection and involvement.
-Ensure compliance with internal and external project requirements (site compliance, EXIM checks, etc.).
Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:
Project Lifecycle Management:
• Manage all commercial and financial topics during sales and execution phases.
• Ensure proper handover, review contract conditions, and involve Legal when required.
Financial Control:
• Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and EAC (Estimate at Completion).
• Ensure adherence to internal controls (RIC, ICFR) and tax compliance.
Risk & Opportunity Management:
• Apply company's Project Management methodology for risk evaluation and mitigation.
Customer & Stakeholder Management:
• Build strong professional relationships with customer representatives and internal teams.
Reporting & Documentation:
Conduct regular project reviews and prepare financial/commercial reports.
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:
• Expert in Accounting/Finance with 8–10 years of experience in project controlling/accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and commercial operations.
• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel expert).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial Project Management Certification (recommended).
• Advanced knowledge of Indian Contract Act, 1872 and export control regulations.
