Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a motivated and experienced OEM Account Manager to drive growth in the Data Center Industry focused on OEMS. This dynamic Vertical is rapidly growing and needs a highly motivated account manager to develop customer opportunities into successful solutions, products, and services for the accounts they will serve.
The ideal candidate will be able to pair industry knowledge with an advanced automation portfolio of solutions, to drive sales, and establish customer preference for Siemens across the assigned OEM Data Center customer base. In addition, the Account Manager will be tasked with identifying and developing new accounts. Furthermore, the role will be responsible for representing Siemens DI in a matrix organization, so it will be fundamental to act as an interface between the customers and other internal groups including portfolio specialists, engineering, and the Data Center vertical market team to support the ecosystem in the most effective manner. The position reports to the Digital Industries (DI) Director of OEM Verticals in the United States.

We are looking for an OEM Account Manager for Data Centers. This position is remote, but candidate must be located in: Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, Philadelphia or Cleveland
You'll make an impact by:
- Analyzes OEM Customer´s market, business targets & strategy, issues, needs, processes, value chain and key business drivers.
- Develops and executes an OEM Account strategy based on the potential OEM Customer analysis to grow factory automation, motion control (drives and motors), communications (networking, power supplies, identification), and related services.
- Develops and maintains the Account Business Plan (ABP) and tracks all opportunities in SieSales CRM / implementation of the Account strategy, especially for share-of-wallet, assigned OEM Account budget and regular forecast based on YTD figures.
- Coordinates and supports the creation of value-based offers, including calculation, terms & conditions and the alignment of the offer with the Vertical (End-User).
- Ensures the seamless handover to project execution and delivery along with the conduct of the win-loss analysis.
- Focuses on the Digital Industries’ deliverables (scope of products, solutions, and services) according to OEM and market needs / Provides value to the OEM by sharing information about market and industry
- Coordinates/collaborates with Industrial Sales Area Management and VS resources, to establish a push-pull effect between the End-User and the OEM
- Coordinates/collaborates with other Siemens entities (i.e. Siemens Infrastructure, Siemens DI Software, Siemens DI Services, etc.) to further maximize account penetration
- Facilitates and plans relationships on executive and senior levels with the OEM and Siemens management.
- Provides early recognition of potential risks with (major) business impact. When necessary, escalate identified risks in time to appropriate DI Management.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
- 8+ years of proven and successful track record in Account Management or equivalent role representing a similar breadth of industrial portfolio products and solutions
- Strong understanding of Data Center related processes, applications, business drivers, trends and issues.
- Strong executive presence and communications skills to engage with customers’ senior leaders.
- Proven track record of success in operating with multiple channels to market, including direct sales, distributors, system integrators, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, working with direct and matrixed resources to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth
- Entrepreneurial mindset. Willing to take measured risk and demonstrate the ability to act with a sense of urgency without sacrificing excellence.
- Strong and proven ability to develop client relationships and opportunity pursuit strategies of complex opportunities across multiple sales organizations and companies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in an industrial or related environment in an account management or business development role.
- Strong understanding of the Siemens Digital Industry product, solutions, and service portfolio is preferred.
- Data Centers – e.g., industry standards, IT/OT integration concepts, relevant digital applications
- Interest in technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Edge, and Cybersecurity.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 42% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
