Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is looking for a Risk Manager – Infrastructure Finance to work in our Project Finance Group. This position is onsite and located in Iselin, New Jersey, however a remote work arrangement would be candidate may be considered if skills aligned.

You will be involved in providing structured debt financing for the Americas through SFS. As part of a strong and established team of project and structured finance risk managers, you will support SFS’ ongoing business with a focus on project finance transactions. In this context you will underwrite and manage your own projects.

You will make an impact by:

  • Performing comprehensive new transaction risk analysis for infrastructure and energy project finance loan transactions based in the Americas region and providing structuring support to the Origination team.
  • Managing the underwriting process with a focus on risk assessment and optimizing structures.
  • Coordinating the various workstreams in the transaction team (e.g. Rating, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Operations) during the underwriting and portfolio monitoring.
  • Preparing the credit applications including the due diligence of credit material, reviewing and negotiation of financial models, and of the commercial and financing agreements.
  • Evaluating transactions from a risk/return perspective and presenting applications to SFS Management and Committee(s).
  • Monitoring and managing existing transactions in the portfolio (including assessment of requests for waivers and amendments) and representing SFS as main point of contact.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with risk strategies, operating policies and practices to ensure effective risk management, both in the initial risk assessment and over the lifetime of transactions.
  • Maintaining sound understanding of the infrastructure and energy sectors, as well as current market conditions and financing trends.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in finance, economics, or accounting.
  • 3-6 years of relevant work experience/credit analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of project finance in the Americas.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
  • Authorized to work in the US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with tight deadlines. Solid professional writing and analytical skills, particularly in the preparation of credit memos and relevant documents.

The pay range for this position is $100,603 - $172,462 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
