How you’ll make an impact
We are looking for consultant who is passionate about applying AI to real-world operational challenges.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with consultants, domain experts, and clients, to set the foundational layer for AI transformation and build scalable and reliable AI applications in critical industrial areas such as Predictive Maintenance, Visual Quality Inspection, Process Optimization, Digital Twins, Industrial IoT analytics, and Generative AI for engineering and manufacturing workflows.
- Engage with clients to translate complex operational and business needs into project approaches, technical solutions, and develop advanced AI models for the analysis of large-scale and high-dimensional industrial data (e.g., sensor data, machine logs, production parameters).
- Take ownership of software components, making them reliable and scalable within OT/IT integrated environments, and help design the overall architecture for industrial AI solutions.
- Communicate results to stakeholders of all seniority levels – from top management to plant operators & end users – ensuring clear understanding of AI's impact on industrial processes.
- Stay current with the latest research and technology trends in Industrial AI, edge computing, and smart manufacturing to build state-of-the-art data-driven solutions.
- Enjoy project-related travel and work on exciting challenges at our customer’s sites, often within manufacturing plants, energy facilities, or smart infrastructure projects.
Your defining qualities
- Education
- An excellent university degree (master/diploma/PhD) in computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields with a strong background in data science, machine learning or data engineering.
- Experience & Skills
- You will need to be able to apply your hands on experience with IT-OT architectures for time series analyses, computer vision and/or recommender systems as well as experience with cloud-based AI solutions while knowledge of industrial standards (i.e. OPC-UA) and devices are a plus.
- Relevant practical experience through at least two internships in a consultancy, a renowned industrial or tech company, or a start-up and a proven track record of excellence in consulting with data science, data engineering and cloud architecture, software engineering, industrial AI, or a related field.
- Profound knowledge of core data science & machine learning programming languages (Python), Data Warehousing & Engineering (Focus Snowflake) and Cloud Platform Expertise (Focus Azure).
- A high degree of curiosity, willingness to learn and innovate, social skills and team spirit as well as communication skills in English
- You possess hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying AI applications in operational or industrial environments (e.g., predictive maintenance, process optimization, IoT analytics).
- Hands-on experience with AI applied to industrial data (time series, images, sensor data).
- Experience with IT/OT architectures and cloud-based AI solutions; knowledge of industrial standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, curiosity, and fluency in English.
