Your mission will be…
To support our Finance & Accounting operatios us deliver accurate, timely, end‑to‑end accounting for GBS Financial Processing Services (FPS) serving DI SW customers. As a Ledger Accountant, you’ll contribute across multiple streams—Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Cash Allocation, Cash & Banks, Intercompany Clearing (ICC), Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Closing & Reporting—supporting compliance with internal policies, IFRS standards, and corporate deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely accounting services by processing transactions in compliance with company regulations and guidelines.
- Record and monitor day-to-day accounting transactions in SAP with precision and timeliness.
- Verify, post, and process invoice payments.
- Manage vendor accounts, including Goods Received and reconciliation of vendor accounts.
- Prepare and send vendor dunning letters; maintain written and verbal communication with suppliers.
- Process and clarify manual transactions.
- Handle critical queries and provide accurate information to business partners.
- Execute monthly and closing activities, including PCMB controls and audit control preparation.
- Manage other administrative accounting topics as needed.
- Process intercompany transactions (EDI invoices).
- Follow up on open balances and reconcile ICC accounts.
- Upload and reconcile bank statements.
- Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
- Process additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
- Perform inventory reconciliation and periodic accounting.
- Post journal entries and perform technical account reconciliations.
- Execute monthly and annual closing activities (SmartClose, Fcloco).
- Prepare corporate reports (BSR, ESPRIT, IFRS16).
- Validate and correct system errors (ESPRIT).
- A degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in administrative and/or customer-oriented tasks, ideally within a finance or accounting environment.
- Fluent English skills (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong expertise in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- A strong customer focus, combined with results orientation, commitment to quality, and high professional ethics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
