Siemens Energy India Limited (Gurgaon) is seeking a responsible, professional, and self-motivated engineer for a position in Large Gas Turbine (LGT) Engineering as part of the Customer Project Engineering department. We are responsible for New Apparatus customer projects from tendering phase, thru project execution until handing over the project to service organization.
The department provides leadership in customer negotiations, customer engineering and relevant tools development for the entire LGT portfolio. The team is dedicated to continuously developing, maintaining, and enhancing the Customer Order Engineering (COE) process to increase the competitiveness of Siemens Energy's LGT portfolio and drive productivity improvements.

Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:
• Project manager for Large Gas Turbine projects in execution phase. This includes
• Project management for Large Gas Turbine engineering in new apparatus customer projects until hand-over to service organization
• Technical support for Large Gas Turbine topics with interface partners, like general project manager, manufacturing, engineering
• Evaluation and clarification of customer specifications/contract reading
• Cost and schedule responsibility, including controlling activities for execution projects
• Project Management for R&D programs, linked to respective execution project
• Support in customer meetings and communication
• Coordinate project specific technical documentation for manufacturing and procurement.
We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:
• Mechanical/Aerospace Engineer graduate/Postgraduate from university
• More than 5 years of experience in the energy or gas turbine/turbo machinery business
• Strong Experience and skills in project management, leading agile role is beneficial
• Product knowledge: Excellent knowledge of Gas Turbine design and operation desirable
• Candidate must have the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines on time.
• Intercultural experience/sensitivity
• Very good verbal and written communication skills in English, including good presentation skills; skills in German beneficial
• Candidate must be detail‐oriented, organized, self‐motivated, and results oriented
• System knowledge: working knowledge about total power plant functionality, especially shaft train
• Teamwork skills: Be comfortable working with colleagues in multiple time zones and cultures in a team and/or to lead an expert team to answer technical questions and to perform risk assessments
• Networking skills: Ability to establish relationships and build networks in a global team setup and interface with other (engineering) groups across the organization.
