We are looking for a Portfolio Consulting Manager experienced in leading a team while developing and providing leading-edge technical consulting services to energy asset developers, Investor-Owned Utilities, and Independent System Operators.
This is a remote position located in the contiguous U.S.
You’ll make an impact as you:
- Support business development and promote consulting services of Siemens Power Technologies International as you manage a team of consultants with varied levels of experience (entry-level to expert).
- Mentor and develop people while promoting learning from successes and failures.
- Promote relationship building with new and existing clients.
- Manage client engagements, proposal generation, and project management functions to deliver consulting services.
- Ensure the quality of work product.
- Collaborate with other Siemens Industry Business Units for better customer engagement.
- Employ strong communication with engaging presentation and writing skills in English.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in Power and Energy Systems.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience providing power systems analysis for utilities, ISOs, RTOs, Transmission Developers, and/or Generation Developers, with at least 2 years of proven leadership experience building and developing teams.
- Working knowledge of grid simulation software such as PSS®E, TARA, PSLFTM, PowerWorld, PSCADTM, etc.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
- Ability to travel 10% domestically and internationally.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working as an external consultant.

The pay range for this position is $122,951 - $210,773 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
