You will join the US People & Organization (HR) team, partnering directly with our Spartanburg manufacturing plant leadership team to support a fast-paced production environment. Reporting to the P&O HR Manager – Operations, you will serve as an on-site Business Partner, providing practical, hands-on support while bringing a strategic, enterprise-level perspective to people and organizational topics.
In this role, you will work closely with manufacturing leaders and frontline supervisors to translate operational goals into effective people strategies that drive safety, productivity, engagement, and performance. Leveraging a broader HR ecosystem, you will consult on workforce planning, talent, performance, and employee relations matters, influence leadership decisions, and collaborate across teams and locations to deliver scalable, business-aligned solutions. As our presence grows, you will help build capability within the P&O function by supporting and mentoring additional HR colleagues.
The ideal candidate is an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, a proven ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations, and a track record of aligning people initiatives with business outcomes such as operational excellence, growth, and employee engagement. A consistent and reliable on-site presence at the Spartanburg, South Carolina plant is required.
We are looking for a People & Organization (HR) Business Partner. This position will be onsite at our Spartanburg, South Carolina manufacturing plant.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Creating and leading strategic people priorities (i.e. leadership development, people experience, workforce development, talent planning, etc.) and action areas derived directly from the business strategy to ensure alignment and organizational success.
- Partnering with business leaders to generate actionable data insights that drive strategic decisions and align with forward-looking performance metrics like revenue, profit, growth, order intake, etc. Understanding changes in regional workforce trends and markets, evaluating the impact on our workforce and providing consultation on mitigating risks.
- Organizing for impact to ensure efficiency and productivity of factory based on data provided referencing people data within factory. Monitoring HR metrics and supporting data storytelling.
- Leading critical conversations with leaders and teams to tackle complex challenges, improving leadership and team effectiveness, and guiding the organization through change.
- Supporting the development of leaders at all levels, with particular focus on frontline and mid-level manufacturing leadership.
- Fostering relationships to enable seamless integration and seize opportunities for alignment across the internal ecosystem (EHS, Talent Acquisition, Talent & Organization, Comp & Ben, People Relations, Governance & Compliance, etc.), driving impactful outcomes. In addition to ecosystem partners, strong collaboration with the existing SI P&O Business Partner team is a must to exemplify one team to key stakeholders.
- Partnering with People Relations and Governance team to support core HR operational activities as needed, ensuring timely, compliant, and effective support for day-to-day manufacturing and employee needs while balancing strategic business partnership.

Basic qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of HR experience with knowledge of various HR fields, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and management consultation.
- 8-10 years of consultative problem solving, organizational change, risk management, culture architecture.
- 8-10 years in leadership coaching, collaboration & networking, persuasion & Influence, partner identification & management.
- 5+ years of workforce transformation, discussion & workshop facilitation.
- 8-10 years manufacturing or distribution environment experience with hourly teams in a multi-shift operation – required.
- 8-10 years of experience working in a matrixed environment and successfully managing multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability and willingness to travel, estimated at 10-20% for this position.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in change management, culture, or executive coaching or a master’s degree in human resources, business administration or organizational development is a plus.
- Experience in organizational development, agile practice foundations, and applying people's frameworks in operational environments.
- Strong data storytelling, analysis, and digital fluency, with the ability to translate insights into practical recommendations.
- Self-directed and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Trusted advisor with strong communication and coaching skills, able to influence, partner, and navigate complex people's issues with sound judgment.
- Visible leader who builds credibility and trust on the plant floor through consistent presence, practical problem-solving, sound judgement, and effective influence.

- The pay range for this position is $91,463-$156,794 and the annual incentive is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

The pay range for this position is $91,463 - $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
