About Smart Infrastructure – Electrification and Automation:
The Electrification and Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid!
As we expand our operations with the opening of our new Customer Experience Center (CEC) in Wendell, NC, we are excited to bring new opportunities and value to our employees and customers. This role will also be a member of our Power Academy team, which is dedicated to providing top-notch product and technology training,enabling them to work effectively, skillfully, and safely on the job.
We are looking for an Customer Experience Center Receptionist. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.
We seek a welcoming and professional CEC and Power Academy Receptionist. You will be visitors' first point of contact, creating a top-tier experience from the moment they arrive. Your responsibilities will include ensuring a polished, welcoming environment, managing front desk operations, and coordinating with the Power Academy team to support training and events. You will be pivotal in maintaining a high standard of service and operational efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Greeting and Welcoming: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees, offering a professional, friendly, and engaging welcome.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional assistance and information to all guests and employees, ensuring responsiveness and professionalism in all interactions.
- Coordination: Work closely with the Power Academy Learning Coordinator to manage daily needs, including event and training support.
- Administrative Support:Assist with a variety of administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
- Reception Management: Oversee the reception and CEC area, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and stocked with beverages, snacks, and company swag.
- Office Operations: Proactively address office needs such as maintenance requests, catering coordination, and meeting space arrangements.
- Protocol Adherence: Implement and uphold office protocols, including visitor check-in/check-out and security measures.
- Problem Solving: Take a proactive approach to identify and resolve potential issues, seeking out necessary resources and support.

Basic Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar position and an Associate's degree, or at least 5 years experience in a similar position and a HS diploma.

The pay range for this position is $40,555 - $69,523 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
