You'll be an integral part of the development process, collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and customers to understand project scope and contribute to refining application usability.

Your responsibilities will be: test case creation, manual testing, and active participation in team meetings to enhance the overall quality of the product, 1st & 2nd level support within our applications.


Responsibilities in detail:

Requirements Analysis:

  • Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Manager, and Customers to understand project scope.
  • Support the Product Manager in identifying blind spots in the requirements.

Test Planning:

  • Work with the Product Manager and Developers to define comprehensive test plans and test cases, including edge cases.
  • Provide estimations from the QA side for project timelines.

Testing Activities:

  • Conduct functional testing of client-server web applications, covering both backend (BE) and frontend (FE) components.
  • Utilize test design techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Issue Management:

  • Track and report bugs, working closely with support to prioritize and address issues promptly.
  • Actively participate in triaging and resolving reported issues.

Collaboration:

  • Be an active member of team meetings, contributing insights from the QA perspective.

Communication:

  • Report testing outcomes to the team, providing clear and concise information for future fixing.
  • Prepare release notes for customers, highlighting open issues.
  • Customer communication using our JIRA service desk to communicate with our customers / end-users

Technical skills we’re looking for:

  • Understanding of client-server applications architecture.
  • In-depth understanding of testing methodologies and strategies.
  • Understanding of Test Design techniques.
  • Test artefacts creation knowledge.
  • Knowledge of DevTools console.
  • (nice to have)Experience in test automation (Typescript, Playwright).
  • (nice to have)Experience with JIRA & Confluence.
  • (nice to have)Experience with GenAI (Github Copilot etc)

Fluent English is a must. German is a plus.
