Your new role – challenging and future-oriented:

· Develop 3D CAD models of gas turbine auxiliary equipment, piping, and structural components using industry-standard tools (e.g., Open plant, MicroStation, SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, Inventor, Creo, or similar).

  • Prepare manufacturing drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, P&ID-based layouts, and detailed fabrication drawings.
  • Ensure drawings and models are in line with ASME, ISO, and company standards.
  • Support design engineers in developing concepts into detailed engineering deliverables.
  • Perform routing of piping, ducts, and cabling ensuring proper space management, accessibility, and maintainability.
  • Generate Bill of Materials (BOMs) and maintain CAD data management in PLM systems.
  • Work closely with mechanical, piping, structural, and electrical teams for equipment integration.
  • Incorporate supplier/vendor data into models and drawings for auxiliary skids, pumps, valves, filters, and other equipment.
  • Participate in design reviews, clash detection, and model validation.
  • Provide support during fabrication, assembly, and installation by clarifying drawing queries.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, cost, and timeline requirements for project deliverables.

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Open plant, MicroStation,NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD Plant 3D).
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and drafting practices.
  • Familiarity with gas turbine systems, piping design, skid-mounted equipment, and rotating machinery auxiliaries.
  • Understanding of fabrication, welding, machining, and assembly processes.
  • Knowledge of international codes & standards (ASME, API, ISO, DIN).
  • Other Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce error-free drawings.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with PLM/PDM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience
  • 3–7 years of experience in 3D modeling and drafting for turbomachinery, auxiliary equipment, or heavy engineering projects.

  • Exposure to gas turbine or power plant projects preferred.
