The Production Control Representative plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and execution of production schedules. This position serves as the bridge between materials management, order management, and production teams to maintain seamless workflows and meet delivery timelines. With a focus on proactive problem-solving, inventory accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration, this role is instrumental in enabling the high-quality production of our modern rail vehicles.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Release work orders on time to meet the production schedule.
- Plan production efficiently and ensure business requirements and objectives are met
- Run daily reports for material availability on work orders and bring up to the manager on any critical needs.
- Independently resolves Production, Inventory Planning, and Forecasting issues
- Work with Order Management to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Close work orders in a timely fashion.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High School Diploma / GED
- 3 years' experience working in a supply chain or production planning role in a manufacturing environment
- Highly proficient MS Excel skills.
- MRP systems knowledge, SAP Preferred.
- Tenacious and assertive driver who escalates in a timely manner
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving skills to rapidly identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the processes
The pay range for this position is $65,400 - $88,300 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
