Digital Events and Engagement Intern
The Audience Engagement and Events team within Siemens Digital Industries is responsible for the end-to-end management of events and conferences globally. This includes planning, producing, executing, and evaluating the success of these programs worldwide.
As a digital event intern on the global events team, you will play a key role in developing and working across event programs that span the globe. You will collaborate with other digital team members to set up event registration forms, support event websites, assist the communications team, coordinate event content, and perform digital analysis.
In this role, you will:
- Partner with other digital coordinators to support them in event projects
- Research and develop innovative event strategies and methods
- Support the registration process, web content, and event mobile apps for multiple concurrent programs
- Collaborate with the communications team to enhance social media strategy, referral tactics, and community building
- Manage the day-to-day digital operations of events, including addressing ad hoc requests, coordinating with stakeholders, planning, and documenting changes
- Create and organize internal event communications, such as event invitations, mailing list updates, and registration updates
Organization requirements:
- Currently an undergraduate in Marketing or Business, with experience or knowledge in a wide variety of digital tools, content management systems, SEO, social media, etc.
- Structured thinker and excellent analytical skills, able to identify and communicate solutions and recommendations
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience writing communications and/or promotional materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and react to new and urgent requests
- Strong, polished oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to large audiences and provide status updates on a regular basis
- Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and make recommendations
- Comfortable with projects that are timeline dependent
- You are ambitious, strive for excellence and have a growth-mindset

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
