About the Role
As a Service Sales Specialist, you will provide deep technical knowledge in a defined portfolio (product, solution, or service) and serve as a key advisor to both the sales organisation and our customers. Your mission is to help customers understand the capabilities of Siemens' solutions, and how to integrate them effectively to drive their business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop target customers and opportunities in alignment with Sales and Business Units to ensure a solid sales pipeline
- Identify and pursue top potentials and opportunities with customers to generate new business
- Execute activities such as customer visits, calls, mailings, and presentations, ensuring they are goal-oriented and documented in the CRM system
- Gather and communicate market needs and trends to support the development of market-oriented products
- Organise and participate in internal and external presentations
- Contribute to business planning and strategy for the assigned portfolio
- Analyse market data to identify key purchasing factors
- Monitor competitors and market trends to support decision-making and product development
- Ensure goal achievement, reporting regularly, and managing special cases
- Support sales in promotional campaigns and activities for the portfolio
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the assigned portfolio and relevant sales skills
- Work closely with Product Managers and other internal teams for successful solution integration
What You Bring:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience in sales and/or technology-related roles
- Strong technical expertise and the ability to engage effectively with customers and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
- A proactive, customer-oriented mindset
