This person will lead our Flow Devices Product Portfolio for SI Buildings Products Unit in the Americas region. This is comprised of a large and growing business of HVAC Valves, dampers & actuators. They’ll drive profitable growth above the levels of our key competitors and shape the future of Flow Devices for the Americas market.


In the Automation Portfolio Head Flow Devices role, you will

  • Provide technical expertise and strategy for our products business within the Americas market.
  • Be responsible for the full portfolio of products and achieving the goals of the business.
  • Set vision and strategy, define targets, and an innovation roadmap for Valves and Damper Actuators and drive its implementation for Americas, take overall responsibility for business results and ensure continuous growth
  • Work closely with global Leadership and relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment of overall Americas strategy to global strategy
  • Lead the Flow Devices Product Management Americas team with employees in locations across the Americas driving growth and innovation and guiding product managers through the entire product lifecycle, from concept and development through market launch to product phase out
  • Actively drive successful transformation of the portfolio, business model and enable regional go-to-market in view of market and digitalization opportunities
  • Drive & facilitate continuous efforts to adapt the way-of-working within the segment to ensure customer-orientation, speed, and efficiency
  • Collaborate very closely with the regional segment head and your peers on the automation leadership to develop the portfolio and business to the next level
  • Clearly communicate the flow devices vision, value proposition and key differentiators to customers and channels – and enable your team to do so. We have an amazing product portfolio – your leadership will help us penetrate the Americas markets successfully
  • Mentor and elevate performance of direct reports by instilling Siemens company values through goal setting and providing timely feedback.
  • Provide technical expertise and strategy for our products business within the Americas market. Being responsible for the full portfolio of products and achieving the goals of the business.
  • As a leader, you will listen and empower your teams to contribute, foster collaboration and focus on the customer
  • Your high level of customer focus, strategic-innovative mentality paired with strong results orientation empower you as an overall successful Business Manager

You will make an impact with these qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

  • Academic degree in engineering, business, or other related fields
  • 7+ years of experience in relevant field industry/technical field
  • Must be able to demonstrate:
    • Analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to lead high performing teams.
    • Commitment to fostering an inclusive team culture and environment, creating a climate for success and innovation
    • High level of communications skills with ability to collaborate and communicate with employees and other team members including at a senior management level and global leadership
    • Proven track record in Building Technology related industries / markets
    • Experience in growing revenue and building new markets
    • Knowledge and experience working in agile product development processes
    • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to build & develop an impactful, engaged and customer focused global organization
    • Ability to lead teams with compassion. Proven ability in developing key talents and their leadership capabilities
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally

The pay range for this position is $132,650 - $227,400 annually with a target incentive of 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
