Making decisions based on data and analytics empowers our customers to make their energy systems and processes in buildings and industries more efficient and sustainable.
We are looking for engineering students to join the Engineering Leadership Development Program Internship with our Smart Infrastructure Electrical Products division. This is a 12-week summer internship (May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026) that will prepare you for a potential opportunity with our fulltime two-year rotational development program upon graduation. This position will be based at Peachtree Corners, GA; Hingham, MA; Roebuck, SC; or Grand Prairie, TX.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Applying your classroom knowledge to address real-world challenges and launch smart power distribution systems and energy-efficient solutions that keep cities growing, businesses flourishing, and people safe.
- Working on projects related to the development of low voltage and control products for intelligent electrical power distribution and switching.
- Participating in a wide range of functions that may include product design and product management, feasibility analysis, manufacturing and quality assurance, project management, or applications engineering.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (must be a student at the time of the internship).
- Ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday) from May to August.
- Must be willing and able to relocate for the summer (relocation assistance will be provided if relocation more than 50 miles from your permanent address) and travel as needed.
- Organized, self-motivated, dedicated to quality and excellence with acute attention to detail.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GPA: 3.0 or higher.
- Skilled in any of the following: 3D CAD, additive manufacturing, circuit design, embedded systems, microcontrollers, testing, C, or Python
