We are Siemens Mobility Customer Services! Due to the amount of work we have in the booming transportation industry, we have a position for a Mechanical Engineering co-op in our organization. Our Central Engineering department is responsible for the engineering of modifications, modernizations and upgrades for all of our trains and other rail vehicles.
Siemens Customer Service is seeking a co-op student in Mechanical Engineering. This position will gain exciting real-world engineering experience at a thriving company.
We frequently work in small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, and learn from one another. The ideal intern for this environment will be enthusiastic and collaborative.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Document and create work instructions relating to the overhaul of rail vehicles
- Assist in rail vehicle equipment mechanical designs and modifications
- Support in the technical bid of maintenance and overhaul projects
- Work with Creo modelling software to create 3D models and fabrication drawings

Who Should Apply?
- Education/Majors: Current sophomore or junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from an accredited college or university and majoring in Electrical Engineering with a strong technical or analytical aptitude
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United Staes without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
- Prior internship or co-op experience (preferred) with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Strong analytical, writing. presentation, and critical-thinking skills
- Industry knowledge and/or interest
