Building Automation Alarm Monitoring Dispatchers provide support for the monitoring and processing of alarms received within the Central Monitoring Station (CMS). This is a 2nd shift position with the hours of 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.

You will process and dispatch emergency calls to responsible agency or customer contacts. After dispatch, you will log calls into the system activity report, and document all calls with appropriate resolution codes and notes. You will be familiar with emergency procedures.

As an Emergency Dispatch Operator, you will:

  • Notify customers and dispatch emergency personnel as needed
  • Continuously monitor the alarm signal queue with prioritized response
  • Conduct scheduled video tours of security cameras
  • Respond to emergency elevator calls and access control calls
  • Generate statistical or investigative reports for management
  • Review and critique recorded conversations for purposes of improving customer interaction skills

You will make impact if you have the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience
  • Applicant must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Windows and internet applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified training or knowledge of building automation systems
  • Prior security call center experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

The pay range for this position is $34,300 - $58,800 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
