This will be your impact:
- Process Optimization: As an Invoice-to-Pay expert, you identify and drive opportunities to improve automation and digitalization in Siemens finance and controlling processes, working closely with global process leads.
- Requirements Analysis: You assess global and regional business and legal needs for vendor invoice handling and ensure our template solutions meet these needs. You act as a link between business, functional, and development teams to support harmonized system delivery.
- Process Design: You design and validate processes that align with legal and financial reporting standards, present Invoice-to-Pay solutions, and serve as governance lead.
- Cross-Project Coordination: You manage topics that span multiple projects and adapt existing guidelines. This includes preparing decision templates and documenting updates to accounting instructions (AIFG).
- Process Evaluation and Standardization: You analyze current processes, identify and prioritize business needs, and implement updates with a focus on standardization and harmonization.
- Implementation and Delivery: You lead changes from analysis to technical and architectural design through to launch, ensuring improvements are delivered effectively.
- Concept Development: You develop clear, practical solutions for complex topics that are easy for both business and IT teams to understand.
- Continuous Improvement: You proactively monitor processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to keep the system evolving.
- Strategic Alignment: You take ownership of delivering on the North Star targets tied to your area.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- With Siemens corporate teams to align on future Invoice-to-Pay needs.
- With Sherpa X teams to ensure solutions are consistent and integrated.
- With Siemens IT and operations teams to support system delivery.
- With selected vendors and service providers to ensure compatibility with our templates.

- Education
- Master’s degree in business studies, economics, software engineering or alternatively comparable qualification has been reached
- Experience & Skills
- Long-term professional experience in the area Finance & Controlling
- Proficient understanding of SAP S/4HANA and other Finance related solutions used within Siemens
- Expertise in SAP MM, FI and other technical components relevant for the Invoice-to-Pay Process within Sherpa X (SAP BTP, SAP DRC, EDI, VIM, ReadSoft)
- Knowledge of agile project methodology, experience in a global environment, operational business experience as well as intercultural experience is key
- Affinity for IT and are willing to familiarize yourself with IT structures is helpful
- Technical awareness of back- and front-end development within SAP S/4HANA Cloud Environment and ability to specify, coordinate, test and troubleshoot together with the experts from respective teams
- Deep understanding of the business within Service & Governance units and network within to drive SHERPA X topics is highly welcome
- Ways of working
