Responsibilities:
The Site Manager for the TRC EI68 Project will have the following responsibilities
  • Plan and organize the site activities, installation teams, and relevant logistics and detailed scheduling.
  • Prepare the daily/weekly/monthly installation plan, including the preparation of all required documents for customer approval.
  • Prepare the site conditions and ensure compliance with the Quality, Health, and Safety and Environmental Plans.
  • Manage Siemens installation supervisors, supervise the quality of work, and provide guidance.
  • Overall quality control review and timely schedule update. Control schedule deviations.
  • Enforce all health and safety policies, including performing toolbox safety talks.
  • Act as an interface to installation subcontractors and suppliers to coordinate with site activities and installation schedule.
  • Serve as the interface between the Engineering team and the Test and Commissioning team, coordinating the handover of the site for T&C activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the installation of Rail Signaling equipment, systems, and Civil works activities in the rail environment (TRC experience is a plus).
  • Can communicate complex issues to multiple stakeholders with ease and provide concise status reports.
  • Ability to manage several complex tasks, staff, and organize materials, employees, and sub-contractors.
  • Able to produce documentation (Reports, MoS, etc.) of good quality.
  • Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills to assist engineers and PM in addressing design and customer issues.
