We are seeking an experienced Product Manager for Sensor Solutions. This role will be based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.
You’ll make an impact by:
Lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of our sensor product portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to drive product innovation and market success.
- Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for sensor solutions
- Conduct market research, voice of customer and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
- Collaborate with R&D teams to define technical specifications and requirements
- Lead cross-functional teams through product development lifecycle
- Develop business cases and ROI analysis for new product initiatives
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to define positioning and go-to-market strategies
- Monitor product performance metrics and implement improvements
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and other business units
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or related technical field
- 3+ years of product management experience in sensor technology or HVAC related hardware
- Understanding of sensor technologies (e.g., temperature, humidity, pressure, motion, air quality)
- Experience with IoT platforms and sensor integration
- Up to 25% travel
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the USA without needing company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with building automation or HVAC equipment manufacturing or room environments
- Proven track record of successful product launches
- Excellence in project management and cross-functional leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and certifications
- Experience with agile development methodologies

The pay range for this position is $90,510 - $155,160 annually with a target incentive of 10 of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
