Position Overview:

Siemens Mobility is seeking to fill a Junior level Project Procurement Manager (PPM). This role will be supporting a Project Procurement Manager and cross functional departments including sales, engineering, operations, finance, & management, both locally & globally. The position will be based in Sacramento, CA or Lexington, NC with a hybrid work schedule.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assist with sourcing suppliers/vendors and issuing RFQs, working with internal teams to clarify project needs.
• Collaborate with project managers, finance, legal and technical stakeholders to coordinate procurement activities,
• Maintain procurement records: POs, pricing data, schedules in project tracking files using data tools
• Help implement process improvements and monitor KPIs such as lead time, spend, cost savings.

To thrive in this role, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree,
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in supply chain, procurement, or project support roles,
• Proficiency in Excel,
• Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Coupa),
• Well demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills,
• Analytical, and attention-to-detail skills,
• Ability to work independently and cross functionally,
• Setting you apart from others would be experience with SAP and Tableau as well as experience reading drawings.
