We’re seeking a Data Scientist Accounting to join our newly formed central team at Siemens Financial Services in Poland. This team will play a key role in the support of the implementation of our new S/4 HANA corporate solution SherpaX across various Siemens Financial Services entities.
In this role, you will contribute to the success of the SherpaX project by driving data analytics initiatives. You'll work with complex data structures, develop migration solutions, and create analytical tools to enhance automation and quality assurance.

You'll create impact by:
  • Collaborating with Siemens Finance AC Business Intelligence Team on development and rollout of tools
  • Development of data cv's and reports to support the SHERPA X project
  • Identifying AI use cases and developing AI agents with central teams
  • Developing tools and reports to support data migrations between SAP and contract management systems
  • Developing tools and reports to support the roll out of and migration to S/4 HANA (SHERPA X)
  • Building reports to support S/4 HANA (SHERPA X) implementation
  • Supporting global automation tools rollout (e.g., Redwood)
  • Developing accounting automation and quality assurance solutions
Your success is grounded in:
  • A minimum of 3/4 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within financial services
  • Proficiency in SAP systems (R/3 and S/4HANA), along with familiarity with financial services contract management systems
  • Experience with the analysis of data and data value flows and the development of data analytics
  • Strong digitalization drive and skills e.g., Snowflake, PowerBI, LLM tools
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in IT and data management
  • Excellent analytical thinking, paired with strong presentation and communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • The ability to thrive in multi-cultural, cross-functional environments, ideally with international project exposure
  • Fluency in English is required, additional European languages are a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel up to 5%
