Lead Our UK Market Expansion - Senior Sales Leader - Software as a service (SaaS)
Drive transformation in UK manufacturing as you build and lead a high-performing sales organization at Brightly, a Siemens company. This pivotal leadership role combines strategic market entry with team development, as you'll scale our sales operation across account directors, SDRs, and channel managers.
Utilising Siemens' powerful ecosystem, you'll orchestrate the launch of our 'Asset Essentials' solution, crafting new growth opportunities through both direct and partnership channels. Your consistent track record in high-velocity selling and sales leadership will be key to crafting our success in the UK manufacturing sector.
This position reports directly to the General Manager of Brightly, UK. This is a UK-based position and circa 40% of the role will involve travel, primarily within the UK with some international travel.
This strategic position offers the outstanding opportunity to:
Build and lead a high-performing, dynamic sales team consisting of account directors, SDRs, and business development / channel managers. Develop, mentor and coach sales talent to help them achieve quota and increase their efficiency
Define our entry into the UK manufacturing market. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive the adoption of Asset Essentials in the UK manufacturing sector, with initial focus on Food & Beverage, Metals, Paper, Plastics, and Rubber industries
Drive entrepreneurial growth initiatives
Build powerful partnerships across Siemens
Your success is grounded in:
Excellent leadership and team management skills, building and leading high-performing sales teams
Extensive experience of progressive sales leadership in B2B SaaS / software solutions and proven experience in high velocity selling environment
Strategic sales leader with confirmed consultative approach, combining strong business insight and return on investment articulation with exceptional negotiation and closing abilities
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a start-up mentality.
Results-driven professional demonstrating consistent target achievement, supported by proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics
Drive strategic growth through pipeline management, process optimization, and revenue diversification across direct sales and channel partnerships, while building and developing high-performing teams
Lead market expansion through deep industry insights, cultivating key relationships, and developing targeted value propositions in collaboration with marketing and partners.
The following are a plus:
Experience leading and scaling sales teams in the manufacturing sector, paired with a solid understanding of manufacturing industry processes and software solutions
In-depth understanding of the UK manufacturing market, particularly in Food & Beverage, Metals, Paper, Plastics, and Rubber sectors
Experience with enterprise asset management, CMMS, or related software solutions
