We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Project Controller to support the financial planning, execution, and monitoring of our factory expansion initiative; the position is in Roebuck, North Carolina and requires the Controller to be onsite. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to ensure accurate financial tracking, cost management, and compliance with Siemens policies. You’ll contribute to:
- Supporting financial oversight of the factory expansion project, ensuring alignment with strategic cost objectives
- Developing, monitoring, and refining budgets and financial forecasts
- Maintaining accurate records of project expenditures, conducting variance analysis, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Tracking and controlling capital investment allocations to ensure optimal utilization
- Generating detailed financial reports on project expenses, cost variances, and spending trends
- Overseeing invoice processing, validation, and timely vendor payments
- Identifying financial risks and supporting mitigation strategies
- Evaluating the financial impact of operational changes during the expansion
- Collaborating with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify areas for cost optimization
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and a structured approach to financial management
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results
- Comfortable transitioning from manual processes to digital financial tools

- The pay range for this position is $73,500 - $126,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
