Position overview:
The Order Fulfillment SCM Logistics Professional is an integral part of CSML's mission to provide the right parts to the right place at the right time. This position deals directly with customers and is responsible for managing orders through the complete delivery cycle as well as necessary support functions in order to meet customer expectations and on-time delivery goals.
**This role will be covering non conventional work shifts, covering a maximum of 42 hours of work per week, availability to work on weekends is needed. 2 Rest days will be consecutive and during the week **
Your role:
- Deliver and plan same day orders with the 3PL (3rd Party Logistics Provider) and selected carriers including coordinating carrier assignment, warehouse pick-up, and delivery to the customer while monitoring entire process through the cycle to POD
- Determine when items should be sourced from alternate warehouse locations within the 3PL networks or whether its best to change carrier for best ETA
- Provide regular status updates on all orders including those that cannot be filled immediately
- Research and reconcile shipping discrepancies
- Partner with Network & Transportation teams for delivery compliance and performance
- Work closely with 3PL main Memphis warehouse and depot/FSL teams, including constant monitoring of activities to ensure timely and correct execution of shipments in accordance with business rules and customer requirements
- Manage customer relationships
- Apply knowledge and experience in solving non-routine, varied internal process and customer issues
- Analyze KPIs, propose and participate in LEAN initiatives and other performance improvement measures to achieve targets and contribute to team results.
- Provide After-Hours support, applying knowledge and experience of cross-functional processes to manage a wide variety of order related requests/issues
- Manage Follow-the-Sun process for all global customers in SAP Plant 2050 in compliance with individual country import requirements and including arranging courier transport with suppliers in Frankfurt
- Manage manual order process during system outages (planned and unplanned) including escalation to IT and reconciliation once system returns
- Bachelor Degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of successful experience in order management with demonstration of responsibilities and knowledge as presented above
- Strong computer skills including SAP P41, P40, Office 365 Suite
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with management levels
- Proven customer support experience/customer orientation
- Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in analyzing metrics and understanding data driven insights and solutions
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Ability to understand, on the phone, English language spoken with a wide variety accents and skill levels
