Sustainability (SU) is spearheading the growth in the grid edge market where energy efficient and connected buildings meet the evolving grid environment. We focus on helping customers to reduce their energy consumption, to become more sustainable and to be more resilient in terms of energy supply. We develop and execute projects covering a variety of technologies including energy conservation measures, clean energy generation, storage, micro grids, and manufacturing process-related equipment. In addition, we also provide market leading digital services to help customers efficiently monitor and manage their energy, operations and maintenance activities and environmental footprint. Our scope include consulting, planning & design, turn-key implementation, operation and service works.
Responsibilities
Get involved and lead development of specs for subcontractors, and support technical solution
designIdentify and develop the most appropriate solutions for supply (on-site generation) and demand
side (energy efficiency) optimization projects, including technical feasibility, the assurance of
appropriate supply chain, and the development of risk management measures.Engage with the people, understand the challenges, energy usage, and patterns, how a plant
operates and is controlled, how it provides & uses energy, compare the design to what is being
used, and upon delivering a detailed system design.Coordinate and lead facility site visits and communicates with outside.
Assist sales in the identification and qualification of potential projects.
Lead in the development of preliminary and final technical proposals.
Analyse blueprints and perform site surveys to identify mechanical, electrical, and system efficiencies and determine facility operational characteristics.
Apply energy simulation programs to develop energy models using modeling software to evaluation
the energy yield of the plant.Active monitoring for new trends and solutions in the market to improve the offerings.
Requirements:
Individuals who meet the following requirements or possess the equivalent combination of competence and experience are invited to apply:
Strong knowledge and experience of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems,
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey sustainability concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Lead full-cycle solution technical track, driving from ideation through technical/feasibility study to deliver expected business outcomes with the agreed scope, timeframe and quality,
Proven track record of problem solving and analytical abilities and able to use own initiative,
Familiarity with energy management practices such as demand side management, energy audit, and concepts such as smart grid technology,
Knowledge of utility rebates and performance contracting legislation preferred,
Strong network with local building services and other energy retrofit market participants,
Minimum 3 years for the position of sustainability consultant in architectural environmental design in building services and energy related, BEAM Plus, RCx, LEED and WELL projects.
