Our Panel Fabrication Specialists/Digital Deployment Specialists (DDS) are responsible for quality control and the overall accuracy and completeness of all required digital project deliverables (Digital Deployment Package), and deployment of assigned projects that are managed through the Global or National Operations Center. As a Panel Fabrication Specialist, you will verify all deliverables (engineered drawings, point database, point-to-point checkout of fabricated panels and supporting documents) are correct, and ensure the Digital Deployment Package is complete, all from our off-site Panel Fabrication Center. You will also ensure all documentation is complete and Siemens’ standards are adhered to before the package is turned over to the field execution team, as well as perform remote support for panel and controller level equipment, if required during installation.
As a Panel Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for:

- Controller Setup and Testing: Assist with controller setup and point checkout prior to deployment, including product licenses, firmware updates, panel programming, setting IP addresses, and applying labels to control panels. Test hardware loaded with job-specific software to ensure all I/O, alarm messaging, and trending, functions as expected.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance: Perform quality assurance on the deployment package, ensuring all project deliverables adhere to Siemens standards. Turn over the solution to field technical resources.
- Technical Support and Integration: Provide remote support for local field technicians if issues are found with digital deployment package (DDP) panel and controller level software. Act as a technical resource to all engineering and field resources and provide required technical files for third-party system integrations.
- Project Tracking and Updates: Update cloud-based project sites with testing results and technical documents, including backups of all relevant documents and database files. Track work performed in the operations centers via workflow management software as required. When needed, perform factory witness testing.
