As Head of Tax & Social Security (f/m/d) in our Global Mobility Management organization, you’ll take the lead in ensuring global compliance in a highly complex and fast-evolving regulatory landscape. You’ll shape tax and social security strategies for cross-border assignments, build trusted networks across the business, and lead a dedicated team of experts to deliver exceptional service. You’ll make an impact by:

  • Acting as the strategic lead for all global mobility tax and social security topics, ensuring compliance with international laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with Global Mobility Consultants, Payroll, Corporate Tax, and P&O to drive alignment and seamless integration of taxation, social security and shadow payroll processes
  • Analyzing global trends, best practices and regulatory developments, mitigating compliance risks and ensuring we stay ahead of the curve
  • Optimizing vendor and technology landscapes and contributing to operational excellence by increasing process efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Serving as a strong partner towards the tax governance functions and business stakeholders by balancing interests and setting clear priorities
  • Develop and implement strategies and solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and stakeholder engagement,
  • Leading, developing and empowering your team of tax professionals, fostering performance, ownership and collaboration

This is how you'll win us over:

  • Education: You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in taxation, finance, accounting, business administration or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CPP) or a MBA with a focus on international taxation are desirable.
  • Experience & Skills:
    • You bring many years of professional experience in taxation, social security, or HR/payroll in an international environment
    • You have in-depth knowledge of international tax and social security law, and profound knowledge of corporate tax law and transfer pricing.
    • You can interpret and apply multi- and bilateral tax and social security agreements in complex scenarios.
    • You’ve successfully led cross-functional and international teams, and bring strong experience in vendor and compliance management
    • You have a proven track record of implementing change and managing complex stakeholder landscapes
