The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets.

We are currently looking for a Strategy Project Specialist to join our manufacturing team!! This position will be in our Roebuck, SC plant.
You’ll make an impact by:
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement projects to improve training for both hourly and salaried positions
- Identify projects to improve digitalization tools and systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects
- Ensure the achievement of the project targets in agreed quality within agreed budgets and timelines
- Conduct planning, budgeting, risk identification and management, controlling and reporting activities, throughout all stages of the project assigned.
- Adhere to the guidelines and deploy all (or specific) methods to optimally achieve the project goals (e.g. planning controlling, reporting, risk management, management of internal and external stakeholders)
- Ensure timely decisions are made on open issues, and escalate if necessary
- Monitor risks and initiate corrective actions
- Lead and coordinate the project team
- Act as a functional process resource on projects or programs.
You’ll have an impact by having the following minimum qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, in Engineering, Business Management, or Operations.
- 1 – 3 years of experience in Projects / Learning and working in teams.
- Highly effective written and verbal social skills.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, motivate and lead others to achieve results.
- Result and solution oriented and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
- Skilled in data analysis using MS Excel, Knime or other tools to measure and lead performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automation and digital manufacturing technology
- Six Sigma and/or Process Excellence and/or Lean Certification
- Experience with SAP or similar MRP system
- Experience with computer programming and/or database management

The pay for this position is $67,480 - $115,680 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
