Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility Customer Service is GROWING! We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Project Manager to be responsible for the execution of a large complex Transit project with 20 years durations. In this role you will be responsible for commercial project execution during the life cycle of the project. Duties include collaborating closely with operational departments to ensure Order Income Calculation is achieved while meeting goals for customer satisfaction, cost, schedule, and quality. The Senior Commercial Project Manager is the supporting function of the Project Manager for all aspects of the project.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage profit and loss for the assigned project
- Proactively lead changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and develop cost-related contingency plans
- Oversee and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and in collaboration with management and stakeholders
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing and delivering monthly project reports, customer progress updates, change proposals, and presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Coach, mentor, and empower project team members and contractors, fostering accountability and positive action
- Help identify and resolve issues or conflicts within the project team
- Support customer-facing sales and channel activities
To thrive in this role, you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or in lieu of degree 8+ years of equivalent experience in Financial Project management of complex project.
- PMI Certification or PM@Siemens C. (B as a plus)
- 5+ years of successful Financial Project Management experience in complex projects.
- Ability to travel - 15%
- Excellently demonstrated verbal, and written communication skills as well as demonstrated presentation skills.

The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC is $130,600 - $153,600 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
