Your responsibilities
- A strategic thinker with strong storytelling and messaging skills for translating complex topics and information into clear and powerful stories and messages
- A creative writer in German and English who will develop inspiring speeches and presentations, talking points, opinion articles, video statements, and social media content for the Managing Board Member
- An expert communicator who tailors message and tonality of the Managing Board Member’s voice to all kinds of audiences (business and political leaders, capital markets professionals, industry associations, employees etc.) and various channels, and who can coach and lead a senior executive through the messaging development process, providing appropriate counsel and guidance
- A standout colleague who is able to work jointly on executive communication projects, and to establish a network across the entire organization in order to gather and craft compelling new stories
Your defining qualities
- Master's degree in communications or equivalent
- Many years of successful experience in executive communications and speech writing at C-level, preferably with a tech company in an international environment
- Extensive experience in developing thought leadership content (for example, on LinkedIn)
- Your journalistic experience is a plus
- Experienced in leading, managing, and collaborating with international teams on complex projects
- Able to focus and prioritize in the midst of a huge variety of fast-paced projects; flexibility and willingness to change focus quickly as new needs arise
- Openness to learn, accept feedback, and challenge the status quo in a constructive way
- Very strong written, presentation, and verbal communications skills in German and English are required
