As our new Lead Data Product Owner (LDPO), you’ll work across data domains, technical units, and diverse data sources — from IoT devices, cloud platforms and IT systems to core business processes. You’ll coordinate with key stakeholders, both business and technical, to deliver high-quality data products that power innovative services and unlock new business opportunities.
Location: Please note that qualified candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in Switzerland.
Your new responsibilities
- Vision and Strategy: Define the vision and roadmap for data products, aligned with business strategy end-to-end and across different parts of the organization.
- Product Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the data product backlog to maximize business value by monitoring performance, gathering feedback, and iterating on product features
- Stakeholder Management: Engage stakeholders across business units, data science and engineering to gather requirements and communicate progress
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a virtual team of Data Product Owners to ensure effective product development
- Data Governance and Quality: ensure that data products adhere to quality standards and meet legal requirements
- Innovation: Identify and drive opportunities for data innovation and AI
Your talents and experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Sciene, Mathematics, or similar
- Given the breadth of the product's scope, 3-5 years of experience in data or product management with strong organizational skills
- Previous experience in the technical building domain (automation, energy, security) is a strong plus
- Solid understanding of data technologies (databases, catalogues, data lakes) to steer product decisions and discussions
- Proactive, collaborative and able to influence stakeholders
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for digital solutions and adoption
- Fluent in English, written and spoken
